  1. Hello all,

Today I'm writing a post to help explain the server's current position and the development going off behind the scenes.

As many of you already know, when we first launched our Arma 3 server in January/February, the server was as vanillla as you can get, with little things to do and an extremely hard economy.

Since then, we have eased the economy and jumped to a completely different mission file and mod pack, mostly built up by different communities over time.

Because of this, we still lack a touch of uniqueness, which in turn is our ultimate goal; to be a fun and unique Arma 3 life community.

Recently however, you may have noticed a new face in our development team. Mark, our new Director of Development plans on helping us reach this aim and we're hopeful this isn't too far from reality.

Over the next couple of months, you will see regular changes being made, which will include new content, exciting mods and a smoother experience (FPS wise). Additionally, I must mention that for us to proceed with these updates, we need your help. We will need you all to be somewhat patient with certain content releases, and be expecting occasional mod pack updates.

The community since our change to a new website and server, has since grown exponentially and we're very pleased with this. However, until we feel as though we're at a stage of uniqueness, the level of advertising of the community will be minimal. Once we reach this stage, much of our spare funds will be spent on advertising the community through certain websites, promotions and other methods.

The leadership and staff team here at Arma Roleplay are very excited for the future, and we hope you can join us.

    Kind regards,

    Ellis
